Has anyone had any experience with this education firm? They also offer sponsorship to trade their money. Before I get the snarky response, I did search the forums and didn't really find anyone with direct experience with these guys. Thanks in advance.

Usually but not always. There are exceptions. Hard to find but not nonexistent.

  5. If you are a complete newbie, you may gain some. However, in that position, everything is up for gains. As a half seasoned trader, it may not do you much good.

I have spoken to someone that had traded under them (Kunal, MB Wiloughby et al) and said that the little he learnt was negatively impacted by the pump and high pressure environment.

He believes that they make money, but nowhere near what impressions are presented. In regards to the "students", most drop out after being in that environment and placing forced trade after forced trade and seeing their account diminished.

In saying all this, please take note that this is what I've heard from a third party. I think their chat room is very inexpensive. You won't lose much time and money subscribing for a month or two (unless you get suckered in;):D).

    Good luck in your journey.

Don't confuse "education" with "courses" that prey on the naive by exploiting their dreams of easy money. There are no short cuts in life, especially in trading.

Obtaining an education in mathematics, statistic's, finance, programming etc... is vastly different than some online "trading" course.

Laptop, wicker chair, sunny beach, throw in a screenshot of a few Indicators... point and click your way to riches... typical Snake Oil.

  7. Bulls on Wall Street.com sounds like a stupid gimmicky name...sounds like it's all peaches and creme rocketing to the moon. for complete noobs.
There are always two sides to everything:). it is what you make of it.

I'm bias towards official 'trading courses'...since I learned everything on my own.

Thanks. I get that there are the snake oil salesmen out there(hence the question). But there also must be some legit people out there that provide guidance and advice. I'm not looking for any shortcuts, just some mentoring and a few ideas of what has a decent probability of working. I can then find my own edge. I can't think of a profession that doesn't have some level of mentoring, whether you are a roofer or a neurosurgeon. I appreciate your view and not just attacking me with a blanket and obviously false statement as someone above did.

Trading does not require mentoring, it can help but is not necessary.
Ask yourself this, why would those supposedly successful traders waste their time teaching their methods to complete newbies for relatively small amounts of money? In general, traders trade. There are very few exceptions and those are traders who mentor friends/family or traders who make the students sign very tight NDA agreements and they have to work for them after training is complete.
They charge $2850 for a "60 day bootcamp", whatever that means. So assume they do 10 customers at a time, that's $28k for 3 months, with other expenses included the mentor would probably make around $20k or $6.6k per month - not a lot. So why wouldn't he trade instead of wasting money talking to newbies? It's quite self-explanatory to me.
