FCMs/futures brokers I contacted say they are unable to set auto-liquidation of an account at a pre-determined account equity value. However, their risk systems allow them to set this if the account drops by 80% of previous day's Net Liquidating Value. Why is it so hard to do it for a customer? I just want my account to get flat (all positions closed, orders cancelled) if equity drops to a certain number. Anyone has got a solution?
Why can't you do it yourself? Wait, you mean you are not sitting in front an array of four computer screens at all times that the market is open? LMAO If it's that easy, you should write a script yourself that will monitor your account equity and place the orders when triggered.
Sierra Chart has a *Net daily loss limit* Das Trader Pro also has it, but DAS is not a futures platform. So maybe you can find a trading platform that has a *loss limit*
LightSpeed Broker also has something were you can call or write an email to set *Net daily loss limit* at the broker, if trading stock. But you can ask Robert Mose, he is sponser on this site, and LightSpeed also offer futures trading.
