Brokers stopped recommending options as they get more commissions from daytrading?

As wonderful as commissions are:

* No margin calls
* Defined maximum loss
* Unlimited potential

Now they stopped recommending options since they get way more commissions from daytrading?

 

I knew I forgot to put someone on ignore...

 

No, it's the lawsuits they'll open themselves up to for recommending options, and it's also the heavy regulations around options.
