I called into TDA when I could not do a withdrawal today and informed me my account is on a "no funds out" restriction. What the hell is that? These brokerages are treating us like criminals. I had some new funds just deposited so I get that,,,but I had funds in cash for awhile and I cannot withdraw. Anyone have this issue? Anyone know what is going on? They say I need to call in during regular business hours.

You were probably doing something shady.

Do you think a large broker driven to high levels of operational efficiency would create land mines to trip up customers and embroil highly paid staff with mundane issues such as someone wanting to make $1000 dollar transfers twice a month?...In an industry that has made a science of moving money?

Can you fathom the millions of transfers done? And it had to be you, poor old you...where the system suddenly failed.

Every guy in jail says he is innocent.

TDA blocked withdrawal for some reason.

You have to tell us the whole, nothing but the whole truthful story.

    thankz not required ....

You know ET is the No.1 Clown Trading site on the net, don't you? My avatar picture is me... naked.

    Btw, if it matters:

    Regulation and Insurance
Capital Markets Elite Group is headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago, which means there’s no American regulation from FINRA or the SEC. This situation creates both advantages and hazards. CMEG is not a member of SIPC, either.

  7. Yeah, you cannot withdraw a recent ACH deposit, sometimes for a month or longer, depending on the broker.

  8. ACH incoming at Etrade is three days and four for IBKR. Ten days if you are sending it to bank of non origin. RH lets you do some whacky transfers.

  9. ACH for most big brokers in the USA is 3-5 days to settle. That’s to prevent guys losing money and doing a double chargeback, , stop payment or Good Faith Violations or Fed Calls tricks.

  10. Something seems off, TD and Schwab are solid. The old days brokers let us pay $29.99 to move $50,000 days before Settlement.
