Recently this same "Forum" said that because the current president facilitated access to guns, more people have been killed. A while back, the same idiots released data that showed that the homicide rate had fallen by 7% and was the lowest of all the years they measured(which is true). And the homicide rate began to fall in 2018, the year the current president, who is pro gun, took office. I couldn't find this in English, but I'm sure you can translate it if you want to. Brazil is the perfect example of why gun restrictions don't work. Criminals have access to all kinds of guns while the common people have to deal with one of the strictest gun regulations in the world. Thankfully this is slowly changing, but it has a LONG way to go... America's Government, prison system, court system and Law enforcement is Waaaay too soft and lax and lenient. That's why all the criminals and shady people continue to do what they do. Because they know they can. Punishment for every minor offense should be very hard, serious, and served promptly as a major deterrent to don't even think about it.
