Brand new to Forex. Looking for educational resource suggestions

  1. Hello all! I'm brand new to this forum and I want to start trading in Forex. However I'm green as can be and need to get some serious education.

I have been looking at a handful of online forex trading classes and the one that is standing out right now is "Learn to trade Forex" offered by Forex.com

Is this a good class to start off with? If not what educational resources would you suggest?

Thank you all for taking the time to point me in the right direction!

  2. Hi,

A good place to start would be to track strategies and sentiment on sites like tradingview.com and stocktwits.com for the currency pairs you are interested in.

Also, reading up on technical analysis will help immensely.

  3. Run. Just run. Run for your life.

Retail forex may as well be horse racing.

Forex is gambling. All trading is, but Forex and Binary Options are only slightly better than buying a Lottery ticket. But hey! If you've got your mind made up who am I to stop you from burning your greenback.

Start with babypips. Avoid FF or other forums as they are flooded with (bad) information and ego and you will get lost. If you can, open a futures account and trade micro currencies in the beginning. But since you have two hobbits, it might be better for you to steer away if you have gambling issues.
