Both Startups and stock traders experience 90% failure rate

Discussion in 'Trading' started by rajesheck, Jun 3, 2023.

  1. Every year many people lose their investments in startup business. It is estimated that 90% of the startups fail. Probably because people who try business for the first time lack experience and business skills, right?

Now look into stock market. It is speculated that more than 90% of traders loose investment.

    Can you see the connection?

The first impression that most traders get is that trading is self employment with affordable investment. Some traders think trading as a business.

Forget stock market for a moment.

Now tell me what the term "trading" means?

    Business or self employment?

  3. I am a creative writer and go with the flow rather than a well planned conventional articles. I am creating each thread with specific perspective which i feel is unique and vital for discussion.

Xela is very straight forward person but not a very creative person.

Obviously creative people are minority in this world. People can recognise creativity only after huge success. Until then creativity is nonsense.

The future of this world is in two aspects..
    1. Artificial intelligence
    2. Innovative thinking

In other words, either develop creativity or become a victim of artificial intelligence. This will impact the young generation more than others.

A million average people cannot create what one innovative thinker can create.

Though my intention is to embrace innovative thinking among all traders, the strong ones will be inspired by my words while the ordinary thinkers will get frustrated.

As a creative writer would you be so kind as to provide a
link to your published books. Amazon maybe?

  5. I said i am a creative writer. I didn't said i am a published author. All that i am writing here in ET are creative writings. Creative writing is a genre or style of writing.

Can I ask you a question?
Do you see yourself as a creative person or a curious student of life?

What you believe about yourself is what you are. Transform your belief and transform who you are.

Technically I see myself as both.

On that note, I'd like to declare that I'm a creative
basketball player. I dare the pro baller Kyrie Irving
    to bring his best game.

Creativity is absolutely subjective. I've seen
people throw dog poop on a religious icon
and call it art. Here's another example.
Some people claim Hollywood is creative.

In my mind, movies like The Equalizer or
John Wick full of senseless egregious
violence is no more creativity than
    watching a dog take a sh@t.

But I'm sure there are many that have
a different perspective and might salivate
over such movies. In their mind it's creativity.

So really creativity is a subjective
preference in the eye of the beholder.

Good luck in your creative writing.

  7. I am glad that you see yourself as a creative sports person. Have you recognised yourself as a creative trader too?

Infact i would love to ask that question to all traders.

    Yes, creative and successful.

Be sure to use spell check, creative writers are docked
2 points for misspelled words on the Forum. Just kidding.;)

  9. Good to know.

Do you see trading as a technical or business skill or both?

How would you like to define trading as a business skill?
