    Hi
There seems to be more books on the topic that i will ever read, any advice on which one I should aim for first ?
Interested in IPOs, but also secondary offerings, private placements and new bond issues, and more interested in the asian market, but i don't do too well with books that get too technical.
Found Straight too hell from John Lefevre about fine for my intelectual level when it came to bond offerings but can go a tiny bit more quantitative.
In light of this information, any book one could recommed on the topic that seem to fit the bill ?

    Thanks in advance

  2. What exactly do you want to learn from these books?

Most of all I'd like to become better able to judge how advisable it is to subscribe to particular Ipos and primary bond offerings, and if it s advisable at all as a retail customer, or say as a private banking customer - as discussed in another thread i'm suspicious of negative selection that ends up with private clients getting allocated only on the poor deals.
And if they are included in the same books, i wouldn't mind reading about other offerings one encounters occasionaly when holding a company's stocks.

Found those books on the topic, none of which seem too technical, but I'm not a particulary avid reader and have already a couple of books idle by the bedside and more on the to buy list, so if anyone can help to narrow the selection it will be welcome:
