I know various patterns of this kind have varying names, according to the source.

Not a book, but have you looked at Bulkowski's "Pattern Site"? These sound to me exactly like all the kind of things listed and demonstrated there.

all known patterns worth nothing without the governing principles that guides their creation

none of those principles explained in any books (why do you think people, including those who wrote the books, can not make consistent money on those patterns ? )

the wanna-be trader (you in this case) is the the one who should find those principles

I second the recommendation for the Pattern Site. He pretty much covers everything. I specifically remember seeing a detailed analysis of the Adam and Eve setup. (And the 90's HTML is awesome!)

  5. Chart patterns LOL. Some rich guy with a brokerage is waiting for you to pay for his next Ferrari. If you want to know the truth look for <Fooled By Technical Analysis> by Mike Harris.
