I am fairly familiar with the concept of pyramiding into trades, and have seen quite a few articles on the subject. One of the things I haven't seen discussed as extensively are the various nuanced details like frequency of additional entries and so on. Can anyone possibly recommend a book with a more in depth discussion of the topic? BTW - I am not looking for a book on the merits of averaging down ...that's a WHOLE different subject.
I dont think a book per se exists, but ive seen editorials across the net. Try google, see what you can dig
Perry Kaufman's New Trading Systems and Methods has a section on this. There is a PDF on the web if you don't want to buy that monster of a book. It was the first book on trading I ever bought, long before I began trading, and reading it gave me a good insight.
