    I think it's a pretty good video on the importance of the bitcoin (cryptocurrencies') tech called blockchain

    Factom is a Texas-based company that is operating and have customers (US Government Agencies and Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, and working with Asian banks from what I remember) and offering BaaS (blockchain as a service). The Factom (factoids) cryptocurrency have been going up in value but nowhere near the other cryptos out there, about $12.50/coin. Do your own research and don't follow anyone, but for people who say, they don't understand bitcoin, and it's stupid to buy bitcoin at $2200 per coin and it's not a currency due to volatility, etc....
