As the 1st cryptocurrency to be ever created, bitcoin is nearly similar to the other digital currencies and is the biggest by capitalization. Moreover, its narrative has managed to maneuver so much on the far side being “ a strictly peer-to-peer version of electronic cash” to changing into a store of import and being compared to gold as a hedge against inflation.

Although bitcoin’s success is undisputed, queries encompassing the cryptocurrency’s future still arise: Will bitcoin go up in the upcoming years?

This week has seen a surge in crypto markets across the board, with crypto-related stocks benefiting as well.

As the year 2023 approaches, the market leader, bitcoin, is beginning to reclaim its position. The cryptocurrency has risen from multi-year lows to trade in the foreign exchange market between $ 18.722.64 and $ 19.389.58.Successively, occurrences such as the FED’s interest rate hikes, the Russian invasion, Europe’s vote on the PoW chains, And an insolvency crisis in Celsius and 3AC have collectively collared the bitcoin price prediction.

With recent spikes in liquidations due to longs and the equity market's turmoil, investors and traders are skeptical of bitcoin and Ethereum price predictions in the short term. Are you also one of the many who are keen on knowing about bitcoin’s 2023 price prediction?

Then let's get ahead with bitcoin’s price forecast for the year 2023 and the upcoming years to come.

    Bitcoin price prediction for 2023:

Bitcoin is unique in its own way with its properties and working systems, which allow its users to make transfers globally with low processing fees. The new payment system has excited many users and is continuing to establish itself deeper into the system. Well, according to the sources, the overall supply held by the holders has reached a new ATH of 13.62 million BTC.

As per Crypto analyst CoinPedia' BTC price prediction 2025 a sudden push in volumes could result in a bitcoin price prediction for the year 2023 of $34,959.19. However, the price of the crypto king could sink to a low of $23,218.00. The balance of trading activity could also settle the price at $34,412.75.

    In the Future, Bitcoin;

Well, seeking impetus from institutional investments and acceptance, which will be in favor of bitcoin, And the bitcoin price prediction could propel the blush to $43,959.19 by the end. And if the concerns around PoW chains and energy consumption worsen, then we can expect the bitcoin price to settle at all levels around $23,218.00.

Bitcoin is like an artificial created commodity. It never can be any worldwide accepted currency which would replace any larger FIAT currency. Thus Bitcoin is nothing worth in my eyes. It just pure speculation. Those so called 1 million USD price forecasts for Bitcoin are just pure nonsense. And any other crypto other than BTC and ETH follow just a pump and dump scheme loosing all their values in the end. So zero for buyer in the end. Just better stay away from all cryptos. Still a currency and needed payment system for criminals only. Others do not need them essentially.

How did you came up with such precise number ?

    Usually it's a round level, say $30 000 or $35 000.

"Bitcoin is unique in its own way with its properties and working systems, "

This is where the fucker lost all his credibility. Also unless a typo, they didn't predict anything beyond 2023.

But as much as I criticize them, I do agree that BTC won't get anywhere close to the ATH, so a 50% of that as a high sounds realistic. But that is assuming decoupling from the markets will occur again and frequently.

In the last 4 weeks there were 2 such decouplings, at the first BTC overperformed the market, and in the last few days while the market stayed up, BTC nicely dropped 10%ish....

Personally I see it fluctuating between 15K and 30K. But that requires the general market (SPX staying above 4000) not tanking. If it gets anywhere near 30K, you should sell.

How reliable and immune to highly motivated attack and 'regulation' is the infrastructure on which the ledger is distributed?
Can this baby go up in smoke at the stroke of a puppet politician's pen?

With Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) turning in its best January performance since 2013, it's no surprise that analysts are ratcheting up their price targets for this suddenly hot crypto. Bitcoin was up nearly 40% in January, and that has led to a completely revised outlook for just how high this crypto could fly in coming years.

Cathie Wood of Ark Invest -- known for her previously controversial $1 million price target for Bitcoin -- has just ratcheted up her Bitcoin price prediction. She now thinks Bitcoin could skyrocket to $1.48 million by 2030. But just how feasible is that prediction?

  7. be honest… You said something similar many year ago but instead it was

“Personally I see it fluctuating between $15 and $30. If it gets anywhere near $30 you should sell.”

And now you are saying it will never make a new all-time high literally 1000x higher in price, what a joke

If we're all alive for the next 20 years, I expect 1 bitcoin will hit a price of $10M

Bitcoin has no top as fiat has no bottom

Even when 1 bitcoin is priced at $1M, it does not mean it will stop going up in price

The more central banks print fiat currencies, the higher the price of bitcoin goes

And centra banks are not going to stop inflating the supply of fiat currencies and debasing the value, it's their primary business model, also related to their massive debts

Look up the projection of the US Treasury for the next 75 years that was just released recently

  10. It's interesting to note that Cathie Wood is also big on religion.
