The new spot bitcoin ETFs in the US have been the most successful ETF launches in history, and it’s not even close. (See screenshot) IBIT raised the most money in a month (just shy of 4BB) of the over 5500 total etf launches over the last 30 years! FBTC is actually number 2 in the list at 3.2 billion in the first month. now think about this… NEVER in the history of ETFs did a bunch of ETFs launch at the exact same time that do the exact same thing. This has literally never happened before. So considering that fact, it makes a lot of sense that these new bitcoin ETF flows should actually be added together. If you do that you’re talking about an excess of $9 billion raised in one month! No other ETF is even in the same galaxy as that number. if you are a bitcoin doubter, and think it’s just hot air, are all of these institutional investors wrong and you are right? Do you really believe that? I just don’t know how you see something like this happen and convince yourself it’s not a big deal.
Is OP sarcastic? He is on my ignore so I don't see it but: https://www.economist.com/finance-a...fs-are-off-to-a-bad-start-will-things-improve Bitcoin ETFs are off to a bad start. Will things improve?
I read this article, and my only conclusion is that this guy has a bone to pick with bitcoin, because none of the numbers support his argument at all. Again, check out the screenshot that I attached to my post, two of the nine new bitcoin ETFs (IBIT and FBTC) have raised the most money in the history of ETFs which spans over 30 years.! Come on man
You did not show evidence bitcoin ETF has the most successful start in history. You did not compare Bitcoin ETF vs other ETF/ Bitcoin futures ..... Bitcoin ETFs had the most successful start in history ----> IBIT & FBTC ETFs had the most successful start What a tricky OP. Next scam/trick please.
Bloomberg publishes the data on a daily basis. You should do the work yourself and look at the data and not wait for spoonfeeding like a baby
OP is expected to produce proper writeup (excl those who ask questions). OP job is not simply and blindly COPY and PASTE. There are quite a few OPs who wrote / copy&paste junk actually. Writing reports/statements not supported by facts/numbers/data are not acceptable.
I am confused about the point you are making. That chart of the ETFs that raised the most money in the first month includes every ETF that ever came to market, including futures ETFs, and every other kind.
