Bitcoin distribution

Discussion in 'Crypto Assets' started by wxytrader, Mar 3, 2024.

  1. I imagine most retail are now in the hodl or distribution stage. How would you distribute any coin you have whether for tax purposes or just to unload?

    1/10 of holdings every year?
    1/20th?
All at once? Hodl till a Million?

    Here are some predictions:

    • Max Keiser Predicts $200K per 1 BTC by end of 2024

    • Hal Finney: $22M per 1 BTC by 2045

    • Fidelity Investments: $1B per 1 BTC by 2038

    • Peter Brandt: $120k — $200k by September 2025

    • Chamath Palihapitiya Predicts $1M per 1 BTC by 2040

Here is an example of possible future prices from changelly, and unloading 1 BTC:

If any of those predictions pan out, selling any BTC at the current level makes no sense.

Hopefully BTC wont follow the Cycle Repeat chart
    like it did last time.

    Never fear an exit strategy.

  5. Yes expecting a pullback to 40k before the big move, but not sure if we are going to top out here or push up again to about 72k

    Cool chart!

  8. I think bitcoin is going way higher as well, but I’m gonna start selling some once we hit 100 K. You gotta live your life and also at that point bitcoin would be too high of a percentage of my portfolio. Nothing can take too much of a percentage of my portfolio, no matter how much I like it. Only an ego maniac would say otherwise

    Not so.
Plenty of market wizards advise strike while the iron is hot.
It's more a case of letting winners run and cut your losses short.
