eh...a bit of a mixed bag. There are very few options for people to migrate to the US so don't see why they wouldn't use one of the few available for their kids.
Of course its good for the some of the migrants. No need to ask that question. The question should be what has 1.2 million immigrants per year done to our standard of living, to workers wages to our taxes to inflation stealing old people money. Is this something we want as a people.... or would we rather help those in their home countries. Do we really want to spend thousands to 10s of thousands of tax dollar helping other countries children be born here? And if the child is born early or with issues we may spend a hundred thousand or more on care.... with no payment. And we may even take care of that child for life. There other questions about the ethics and safety of American mothers giving birth to foreigners children here in the states through in vitro.
