It sounds like an updated version of "speed reading " which has been around. for decades. It is a useful skill to acquire.
The best reading productivity hack is imo not to read as much as possible in a given timeframe, but to just read less (nonsense) like my reply
I took an Evelyn Wood speed reading course in the '80s. Didn't do much for me. I think the benefits of such courses are overstated.
You can get a speed reading machine which extends with practice the area that your eye balls take in, thereby increasing the speed of your reading.
