Technological giant Apple announced it's banning binary options mobile apps from the iTunes app store. According to section 3.2.2 of Apple’s guidelines, “Apps that facilitate binary options trading are not permitted on the App Store. Consider a web app instead.” Apple’s move is a severe blow to the binary options industry, as an increasing number of traders prefer trading on the go, and Apple iPhone is the most popular smartphone on the market. Nonetheless, the decision of the tech giant is in line with the latest regulatory tendencies across the globe.
Not necessarily you should have a computer to trade but the point was that this binary options industry has a lot of complaints and that is the reason its getting banned by many regulators, so was the point that apple also not allowing BO apps.. hope you get the point.
Apple apparently aren't enforcing their own rule very well, because the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) said on Tuesday it has contacted Apple and Google in relation to the numerous mobile binary options apps, illegally targeting Australian investors. According to an ASIC review from March this year, there are around 330 such apps offered by unlicensed entities and individuals.
Its seems that bad days are already started for binary options trading because there were hell lot of complaints against binary options brokers.
