Who is mining Bitcoin in New York? That's one of the most expensive areas in the US for electricity. Also, I don't see how it can be enforced. I guess they would find out by the amount of electricity is being used in a home. But I don't see how they would actually find out what the power is being used for without raiding a home. I mean, do they plan on making it a felony to mine Bitcoin? There is no way they will be able to raid a house over a misdemeanor.
