A brilliant strategic move on the part of Team TDS.

He won't enforce the ban come Sunday night.... but he'll leave it to Trump to do that... enforcing the law of the land while at the same time backtracking on his campaign promises.

    Brilliant move!

That said.... odds are however, Trump will figure out a way to play it for another big win.

I see Netanyahu is gonna bump the cease-fire to Inauguration Day.
    MIGA!!!!

    well, it stopped the service.

  4. So Trump comes in with a YUGE win just by being the one who flips the Tik Tok lights back on on day one and then rescues it.

That is sort of a free gift from the gods. The dems may have just lost the midterms based on the way the American mind and love for social media sh#t works.

Probably we will hear about it when Trump runs for his next term. Maybe Biden will run again and be a comeback kid like Trump. OR NOT.

I wonder whatever happened to that Elon Musk social media guy. All the lefties here were dead certain that he had been driven off the world stage because he took a shellacking on the Twitter deal.

    Speaking of threats from China.

Trump: ‘Nutjob’ Milley never told me of calls to Chinese general

Seriously folks, Chinese spies have been stealing data from the US and we have caught multiple Chinese spies including, a woman which they just released without fanfare. A lot of things do not add up on the Joe Biden propaganda mill. If the Chinese wanted to steal military secrets of the US, they do not need TikTok to do that. They already have too many spies everywhere working for the US government. What are they doing to vet these Chinese federal employees on US taxpayers dime, spying for the Chinese government? Blame Joe Biden and the Democrats who have wasted tens of millions of dollars plus all the man hours to slander and file multiple bogus lawsuits against President Donald Trump. All this time too, Joe Biden and his lackeys have flung the US border open for anyone to just walk in, Chinese spies included.

This is why there is a problem according to Chat GPT. I have never installed it as I want to be able to get security clearance again perhaps but I have not a good opinion of it as it seems to be designed to ruin minds.

"Yes, the content on Chinese TikTok (known as Douyin) is significantly different from what is typically seen on TikTok in the USA, and many observers argue it is generally less frivolous or "stupid." Here's how they differ:

    1. Content Focus
    • Douyin (China):
      • Heavily regulated and aligned with Chinese government priorities.
      • Features educational content, such as science experiments, history lessons, and cultural heritage promotion.
      • Encourages achievements, talent showcases, and practical skills like cooking, fitness, or entrepreneurship.
      • Content for children is particularly curated to promote positive values and avoid "time-wasting" material.
    • TikTok (USA):
      • Largely driven by viral trends, dances, pranks, and humor.
      • Content often skews toward entertainment and low-effort engagement.
      • While there is some educational content, it competes with memes, challenges, and influencer culture.
    2. Time Limits and Controls
    • Douyin imposes strict time limits for younger users (under 14), restricting them to 40 minutes a day and preventing access during late-night hours.
    • TikTok in the U.S. has fewer restrictions, relying on parental controls for limits, leading to potentially excessive usage among younger audiences.
    3. Algorithm Design
    • Douyin's algorithm prioritizes "positive" and educational content, whereas TikTok's algorithm in the U.S. is optimized to maximize engagement, often favoring sensational or trivial trends.
    • For example, Douyin might promote videos about learning new skills, while TikTok might amplify dance challenges or controversial content to drive viral reactions.
    4. Cultural and Government Influence
    • In China, content must adhere to strict government standards, reinforcing values like hard work, patriotism, and family unity.
    • In the U.S., content creation is much freer, but this also means lower barriers for absurd or "stupid" trends to go viral.
    Summary
Chinese Douyin tends to emphasize productivity, education, and personal development, often appearing more purposeful. In contrast, TikTok in the U.S. leans heavily into entertainment, often prioritizing virality over substance. Whether it's "less stupid" depends on perspective, but Douyin's curated approach does seem more structured and intentional.

  8. So what's the chronology here? trump was against TikTok until after he met the CEO. And now he's for it?

Speaking of "free gifts," I wonder exactly what the exchange was.

What's just too obvious is that Bibi has been playing Biden and Biden has not reacted with appropriate savagery, TicTok is another were all they really had to do was state it's an engineered mechanism for making the youth, and addicted adults, into vegetables.

    He has been soft headed.

Trump will always take money but TicTok in his hands is raw power.

  10. No one is going to enforce the ban and it went into effect today and Biden is done tomorrow..let trump handle it...he has delayed enforcement and tik tok is up again...

it was a stupid law overlybroad..

Also all the GOP congressman and women who voted for the ban bought META stock in the last year.....so yeah it was about China right...not about greed and money
