The gall of him!! Seriously the guy gets to walk just because you don't agree with how he was prosecuted in a court of law???!!! REALLY??!! Last time I checked, USA is a country that is ruled by a court of law and nobody is above the law. When a court of law has decided you are guilty, you are guilty. You get to appeal but if you are still found guilty, you do the time??!! Why shouldn't it be different just because he happens to be the son of a sitting President? The Democrats are becoming more and more *gasp* corrupt??!! :wtf:

This clearly sets dangerous precedence. So does that mean Donald Trump's family members can do whatever they want and all Donald Trump has to do is sign a pardon and they are off the hook??!! If this is a Republican president who does this, the Democratic party will scream bloody murder and the liberal media will be all over this but because this is Democrat president, one of "them", he gets a free pass?

There should be a limit on the presidential pardon in that it shouldn't be issued to anybody within arm's length with the president due to conflict of interest. Biden was all about saving America's soul. I think it's his own soul that needs saving in that he would go above the rule of law and use his special presidential power with just one month left to get his own family member off the hook. LOL

Bannon stole $30MM from a charity and was pardoned. Rationalize, MsDawn.

    Precedent is the correct term.

The pardon was issued on November 30 afternoon. It was to take effect on December 1
Hunter had a free pass to commit any crime on November 30 he would be pardoned on December 1
So Hunter was also pardoned for future crimes

How was Hunter pardoned for future crimes? Simply not true.

If Hunter -- in the future -- goes on a drug-fueled murder spree and murders two prostitutes in a hotel room, he is not pardoned from this crime.

Huge blanket pardon of all time, to cover-up the Biden's Ukraine problem.
Pardoned for any federal crimes charged or uncharged from now to 2014.

The pardon was very specific. It's for the gun charges and the tax evasion charges, not for any future crime. It's not a blanket pardon for everything. That's how presidential pardons are; they are for specific crimes.

The issue is it shouldn't have been issued at all.

    Resd my post
Hunter was free to comit crimes from 11/30/24 to 12/1/24.
    He was pardoned from 1/1/14 - 12/01/24
It was signed on 11/30/24 in the afternoon....Hunter had until midnight on 11/30/24 to go on a crime spree knowing his pardon would go into effect at midnight

    HUH?
Biden’s decision to offer his son a blanket pardon for actions over the past 11 years has sparked a political uproar in Washington

Fantasy reality Trumpers waste so many electrons.

He wasn't granted The Purge for a day.
