I’m talking about the economic news releases.
Do you know other websites or software that delivers news releases faster than the usual sites (fx, investing)? I now there are some companies that provide real time data but they are very very expensive.

Is any way that I can get the data my own, there is some special feed from the same organizations that releases the news? I don't know like some private data API from the federalreserve.gov... Or those companies just visit their websites every millisecond waiting for the news?

  2. No you not going to get anything faster without paying up. Bloomberg or Rueters are probably the fastest.

I'm guessing you want to trade the news? There are news trading programs that use these feeds and then executes a trade based on what the number is and what parameters for execution you set. It's called "auto-click" software. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cvxN6l1mhM

No. If you read the book "the secrets of economic indicators" it explains how the data gets to the public. Basically the government get a secret room somewhere. The reporters, bloomberg, etc go to the room hour before the number is released to the public. An armed gaurd stand outside the door. Everyone is locked in. Half hour before the number is released to the public they receive the number. They cannot transmit the number before the scheduled time. They then have half hour to write there reports etc. Then when the time comes the guy says "transmit" and they transmit the data...

  3. I think Bloomberg, Reuters and CNBC are the best. More so Bloomberg and CNBC since we are talking about news that impacts the financial markets. I guess you could download the apps to your smartphone and they will alert you on the go. That is what I do and it works pretty well.
