Hey everyone, Kind of new here. I was wondering what were some good trading seminars to learn to trade for beginners. I know a little bit about the market and some terminology and such. Even have some stocks. I am really interested in Options, Futures and Forex primarily. And trading for income. The only seminars I have seen around here in Orlando is that Online Trading Academy. I went to one of their free seminars and it just seemed scam'ish to me. IDK, maybe just a bad impression but thats how I felt. So I thought I would turn to you all for some help. Thanks K
I'll suggest you to start in youtube, for instance: "Option trading for beginners". the reason i tell you to start "slowly" is that you have to feel the trading tools, only then choose one you like the most and focus it. focus the tool will involve reading books, seminars, paid services until you get the result you desire.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Mr K; AS IBD notes 50 dma + 200 day moving average; trading -investing is a lot like medical science-school, college-med school, low pay intern......................................................................................................IBD give s a 10 days free trial-google that. You're welcome; remember 200 dma. NO seminar will turn out a DR; good question.
Its good you picked up on the "scam'ish" as most of them are taught by people who barely trade or who lose money. But education is important- books often give a better deal and more info than seminars.
I think enrolling into these forums plus experience is enough to enrich you with the knowledge you seek. I personally wouldn't look for seminars as they would take too much of my time.
Well, as long as you asked . . . Avoid seminars. Avoid gurus. Avoid trading forums. Avoid videos. Avoid books (except for one I'll mention later). Avoid Options, Futures, and Forex. First, learn about the market. And the best way to learn about the market is to study the market. Once you've learned how it works, you'll be in a far better position to decide how best to take advantage of the profit opportunities the market makes available to you. Don't trade something just because it seems cheap (e.g., options). If you're concerned about losing money, simtrade what you know best, which for now may be stocks. Second, get a copy of How To Make Money In Stocks, a first or second edition. You can pick one up for pennies used on Amazon. This will teach you the most basic basics about fundamental and technical analysis. If you do it right, you'll learn how to trust what you see rather than what some guru is telling you you ought to see.
Dont pay full for a course. There are members in here who have already taken some of what you look for so just contact them for a fraction of the cost..I have quite few courses out there. happy to share it with ya
Exactly. I hate that very much. They try to take advantage of you in every way possible. Use the seminars to market their products.
