Hello, I have been trying to make CFD account but I haven't been able to do one yet because all brokers I try don't meet the necessary basic criteria I am searching for. They are the following: 1. Broker must have a wide range of stocks (I intend to daytrade) 2. Broker must allow beginners to trade with CFD 3. Broker must allow non-Eu citizens to trade. I live in Europe but I am not European. 4. Fees, minimum deposits and financial requirements must be acceptable for a beginner. I tried opening an account on IB but was rejected because I don't have the necessary financial salary. I can lie about this, but I am afraid that would hurt me in the future. I understand the risks about trading and I have read a lot about the subject. I want to start with a minimal deposit so I will be risking very little. I have tried around 10s of brokers but none would meet these criteria... Thank you for your help.
Hey, what will you do, if you will find no such broker ? Have you tried AdmiralMarkets ? This is why most of the beginners, - stays beginners. CFD is a dangerous tool, which is banned in US & same should happen in EU. Having a smaller position, yet with leverage/CFD, might be slower, but, it's much safer.
I'd search for forex brokers if I don't manage to find such a broker. I signed up to admiralmarkets. It seems it might work... I'll wait and see. Thanks for the suggestion. Having a small position, equivalent to like 2% of your money won't be risky if I set a stop loss at 1 or 2% on every trade I do. Without leverage, it will take ages to get anywhere really (even when daytrading during the most volatile moments)
Trade stocks on a regulated exchange from your regulated brokerage account. Better spreads and fills.
