Well now that the cryptos have been around awhile....I am curious where you guys think is the best place to trade? I want to be able to do a lot of scalps daily... I am interested in the big coins only...Like bit and eth.... Important features... 1 - Stability...Hope the place or platform will be around for a long time... 2 - Fee structure... 3 - Speed...Need to get filled fast and have access to those funds again fast.. 4 - Need to be able to do fairly big deposit, say 50k and to be able to trade unlimited amounts....None of this 1k max crap etc...Need a place that is hungary for volume but will give good rates... 5 - Good customer service... 6 - Eventually want to dabble with some api stuff....so hopefully they are api friendly and have some support.... 7 - Relatively easy way of getting funds in and out... 8 - Feeling confident that my money is safe... Any replies much appreciated....
A friend of mine recommended poloniex, but I haven't personally traded there. https://www.poloniex.com/exchange#btc_eth
I'm interested in getting into cryptos also. These folks have reviews of all the crypto exchanges (btw, I've heard good things about Gemini, not so good about Poloniex). https://www.cryptocompare.com/exchanges/#/overview
Depends on where you live or nationality: If Europe: then Bitstamp checks all your points. If USA: I think GDAX or Gemini. {certainly not Poloniex). If Asia / Australia: I think Bitfinex. If Russia: one of the above, otherwise BTC-e If Japan: have no idea, maybe BitFlyer If South America: no idea. If South Africa: no idea. If the Moon: you don't need to trade anymore, your are already where you want to be
/ Howdy. thank you everyone for all the responses....I should of mentioned that I live in Canada... GDAX seems pretty good, unfortunately I want to trade ETH/USD or ETH/CAD and in Canada they only allow BTC/ETH if you trade on GDAX. However in the USA they allow ETH/USD.....They dont even have ETH/CAD in Canada. I have also been looking at Kraken. They are based out of Europe but they allow ETH/CAD and ETH/USD. Any other suggestions much appreciated as I dont want to go with some chop shop.
OK, from Canada you can take Kraken if you want. It's a decent exchange (never hacked before) but I don't like their UserInterface (it's slow and doesn't show a real-time book {you need other tools for that}).
This soes guy is so bitter... can't blame him though. I'd be bitter too if I'd been shorting btc since $1000 lol
