Best negotiated commission

What's the best everyone has done in terms of negotiated commission? I recently got a call from a broker that I used in the '90s before pulling my account and going solo. He just switched to ML (talk about jumping to a sinking ship), and asked if I would consider moving my accounts from IB. I told him before we had any serious discussions, he had to make it worthwhile on a commission basis. He said the best he could do was 2%, paid quarterly, with no per-trade cost for stock or options. I told him that was ridiculous and there was no point in discussing this further.

Anyway, not planning on switching, but curious what other people have negotiated. I've heard ThinkorSwim negotiates, but haven't called them. Given some of my recent problems at IB, I'll consider switching if I can find a good fit.
