Best learning resources for fundamental analysis ?

Discussion in 'Educational Resources' started by dottmaxence, Oct 27, 2022.

  1. Hi,

    The title says it all, I'm looking for the most serious way to learn fundamental analysis, preferably a book but I'm okay with a website or a youtube channel.

    Thanks for your help

  5. While the Technical-Analysis evaluates a stock's price action, the Fundamental-Analysis evaluates the business operations to determine the financial health of the company, projects future growth prospects, and determines the company's current and future valuations. It can be done quickly using various financial tools or thoroughly depending on how much time and effort you want to devote.

    If you are into stocks then I would go with Portfolio123 website as this is the gold standard for any fundamental analysis (for stocks). There is also an extensive forum where you could get a lot of information and ask questions too.

    Do not know about your education and how much you want to dive into it. But this is an advanced book about news and fundamental analysis.

  8. Security Analysis by Benjamin Graham and David L. Dodd (forward by Warren Buffett // comments by Jim Grant)

    I think Buffett took this as a "bricks and Mortar" classroom course, taught by Benjamin Graham (at NYU ?)
    Pure Fundamental Analysis.
    Long time ago.
    In his day, Buffett was a superstar of long term swing trading.
    And he was pretty fearless about it (excellent sign)

    I liked + still like all of William O Neil's books[IBD newspaper founder];
    they're an understandable combo of tech stuff + fundamentals+ funds.
    WB did like Ben Grahams book;
    I wondered if WB wished he was Jim Rogers??:D:D I look for truth in a joke sometimes also.
