Thanks in advance for your help - I was hoping to get some direction on the most efficient way to navigate and use the Trader Workstation platform. Is there a specific Youtube account that covers it well? Maybe Traders' Academy on the IB site is my best bet? For some background, I've been using ToS for 3 years and have been quite happy - I've opened an IB account to be able to trade options on /6B, /6A, and /LE as TDA doesn't support those underlyings.
No mystery here -- https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=1350&t=recorded&p=1 Move slowly and identify what you wish to target. You *won't* find much on ES FOPs. You *will* find a bunch of SPX vids -- specifically from Russell Rhodes {recommended. He's not dynamic or cutesy -- he *is* 100%, though.} Get a blank sheet of paper and start writing down tick values, rough bid-ask spreads, required margin (underlying + options), commissions, hours, AND VOLUME. The winners will become clear quickly. Welcome!
IB has many recorded webinars at their own website. Take a look at some that introduce TWS. Those are about using TWS and are not specific to certain instruments (stocks, options, ...). IB also has their own channel at YouTube, which also have similar material. https://www.youtube.com/user/Interactivebrokers/playlists
