Hi everyone, I'd be grateful for any suggestions on a broker to use to trade OTC stocks algorithmically - something that won't cost me an arm and a leg in fees. I understand that IBKR, while otherwise a good platform, charges 0.0005 per share, per trade. That's way too high for me for penny and sub-penny stocks. Any thoughts welcome. Thank you! Tom
To be honest I am not much in favour of trading penny stocks. The returns even after compounding will never be enough. If you want to play safe invest your money in indices. S&P 500, NIKKEI, DAX are all lists that will give you good opportunities to make money. With individual stocks, no matter how cheap, you can never be sure about which way they will go. For keeping your costs low look at Fxview and Easymarkets as low-cost broker options. Your trading cost will remain low with them as i have seen from my experience.
