Ouch. Keep in mind there are more dems on the committee than republicans. In a new report, a Senate committee faults the State Department and US intelligence agencies for failure to prevent the 2012 terrorist attack on a US diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya. By Howard LaFranchi, Staff writer / January 15, 2014 A Libyan man investigates the inside of the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, shortly after an attack that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. The Senate Intelligence Committee released a report on the assault Wednesday. WASHINGTON A scathing Senate Intelligence Committee report on the September 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, faults the State Department for not securing the diplomatic mission there against known terrorist threats and concludes the attacks that left four American personnel dead âwere preventable.â...
I guess this is better for Clinton than - caused by Clinton when she foolishly chose to arm the terrorist and do nothing when they attacked.
Benghazi was the entirely predictable result of the Obama/Clinton policy of supporting islamist terrorists and undermining US allies like mubarak or rulers like Ghadaffi who were at least cooperating with us. We got lucky in Egypt when the military had enough and took over, although the liberals here are still angry about that. Not a week goes by that the Washington Post doesn't run an editorial demanding that we sever ties with Egypt and force them to return the Muslim Brotherhood thugs to power. It's incredible really. We weren't so lucky in libya, and no one has ever really explained why the US Ambassador was in Benghazi with no security. Or who made the fateful decision not to send backup forces after the attack started. Or why we have yet to retaliate against the militias which took part. No probems though, the NYTimes has made up a story that yes, indeed, it was all about the video.
Yeah but she'll have to beat some weak-kneed, spineless, GOP nominated milquetoast to win. Kerry should switch parties to try to get that nomination - he's just what the GOP leaders want. Once the press fashions up a new word for male chauvinist pig that election will be over. At least we won't hear libtards screaming "Racist! Racist!!" every 10 seconds any more.
