Paid for with our hard-earned money by the purchase of their exports and the loss on our exports due to the high tariffs imposed by them. That airport shouldn't be called the Beijing Daxing International Airport. It should be called the World's International Airport because it belongs to all of us and we should get a cut of every single yuan of revenue that's earned by that airport.
Obviously because we are not a one-party ram it down the public's throat country. BTW it opened almost 5 years ago, why start a topic now? And in the Economics section?
True, but it opened in late 2019 right before Covid so it really didn't become a thing until last year. Countries that have confidence in themselves and the future build great structures. Every US state has one, like the Golden Gate bridge or the Empire State Building and many others. But the US has been lacking vision this century. Look at how Elon Musk is being treated by the fringe media of the right and the left despite his achievements with true global appeal. We're inward looking, afraid of too many issues, of each other, of the future. America has become excessively unhealthy and that's not a good thing for the world. Look at how some Republicans are supporting Russia's Putin... Would make R. Reagan, their conservative idol, roll in his grave. So much for the evil empire.. Yes, China is a dictatorship, the kind the fringe MAGA right seems to want in the US. Actually, I could well see Trump erect a mega statue of himself somewhere in the middle of DC if he ever get a chance. China has great ambitions and isn't afraid of showing it. Until it all come crumbling down. But that's the fate of all empires.
