Anyone interested in this stock at all. I think $5 is the bottom, not quite sure when it will get there. For the short trades, who shorted it and do you hold position over night or not. I am watching the stock at the moment.... I see a lot of shorts... What do people know about it to confidently short & hold positions over night? I can see how one can short/long day trading for 3-5-10 cents gain but to hold it over night is too dangerous.
RIMM, lol, what a TOTAL POS! 93% destruction in shareholder value since the 3:1 split. Ya, I vividly remember actively trading this turd many years ago. Looks like it still has lots of volatility. After quickly glancing at the numbers, it seems they have about 500 mil in shares outstanding and 100 mil in shorts, or around 20% of the float as of August 15. I think there are tons of shorts who may have piled in awhile ago. They firm's cash value is over $5/share, so that's probably a floor. It operates with free cash flow over over $300mil/quarter, and still has almost $3 billion in cash, so unlikely to file bankruptcy anytime soon. So I'm not sure why anyone who is shorting AND still holding overnight. The potential is for a squeeze to the upper trendline, possibly a good play with leaps, and hope for the "buyout rumor" that often gets touted with this stock, even though it never seems to materialize. http://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=bbry
$BBRY Two immediate probs I'd have with shorting. 1) short spring from hell; 2) dead horses really don't move = lack of short profit.
"Good" secured US Navy just a few weeks ago and I like this move. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...platform-mobile-device-program-300112510.html
