  3. Really?

    From the article:

A fraternity at Baylor University has been temporarily suspended after a “culturally insensitive” Mexican-themed party where students reportedly painted their faces brown and dressed as construction workers and maids.

The suspension of Kappa Sigma follows a “Cinco de Drinko” party on Saturday hosted by the frat that included students chanting, “Build that wall,” along with others who wore costumes featuring sombreros and serapes.

So you're okay with the flat out bigotry?

  4. In typical CNN, MSNBC, Left Wing fashion, you left out the next sentence of that paragraph-

"A Baylor spokesman told the newspaper the university had no direct evidence of students painting their faces but would investigate if those student reports were substantiated."

  5. This is the university that covered up for rape gangs on its football team. I guess it's easier to bully white fraternity boys. After all, they are only paying tuition, not filling the stadium every saturday with fans.

Whatever happened to freedom of association, First Amendment rights, privacy, all those precious freedoms that liberals are supposed to love? So what if they chanted "build that wall?" Or engaged in outright racist spectacle? They have a First Amendment right to do it.

My advice to the frat boys: hire a lawyer and tell the administration to piss off.

First, there is no evidence, of the faces being painted. But even if there were, boo fucking hoo. They're kids acting like idiots. Most kids in college act stupid from time to time. It's freedom of expression, even if it's poor form. There's no need to run for the nearest "safe space".

It was just a party, much like this one the Clintons were at.

  7. So it's all fake because one person has no direct evidence thus far and will be investigating the matter? Against the allegations of several others? And, but for the (alleged) faced painting, you're okay with the whole enterprise? The construction and maid outfits, the "Build that all" declarations in the context of the "Cinco de Drinko" party?

True, but they aren't being criminally prosecuted so their First Amendment rights aren't being violated.

They got off easy,Baylor should have kicked their asses out of school permanently.

I didn't say it was all fake. I simply said there's no proof. But even if there were proof, so what? It's stupid kids behaving stupidly, and it happens. If that's the worst thing that happens in this country this year, we'll all be fine.

Some people have a different sense of humor than you do, Fred. What they do in a private place is their business. You need to get over it. No one was hurt. Some snowflakes found it offensive, like they find everything else they don't like. But you don't get to tell others how they can have fun as long as it's not hurting others, and not against the law.

Now, if we want to talk about UC Berkeley and the violent beating of people with opposite viewpoints, etc, we can do that.
