  1. We should all:

    1) Be living the dream of Keynes in the '30s where he forecasted at most 15 hours of work per week. For intelligent guys like him, I suppose.

    2) Give up to the new slavery order where the increasingly long hours you rent your soul to the Corporation don't bring back but, at best, if you're not dead already, nothing. Spent in the Corporation until you die.

  2. I'm all for a Trading Platform, a New System, whatever saves us. Being 40 already however I remember a thing from my 15's.

Asked some of my slave supervisors why they torment me so much.

Their answer: I do to you what was done to me.

There's no escape. Not for long. I've avoided it 40 years in total, 20 years since that conversation but all the roads lead to the inescapable.

Labour is a saleable resource. What kind of economist would think people with 40 hours to sell would only sell 15 of them. What kind of employer would buy 15 hours a week at the price for 40?

I currently do around 15 hours a week of programming on the side to cover my living costs without hitting the trading account.
Works about to almost 1000 GBP a week, or about 1400 USD.
5 hours a day 3 days a week with work from home as well.
Trick was to find a smaller company that does not want to pay an experienced programmer over 100K a year. Also i didn't start charging them $100 an hour at the beggining, only after i had shown them what i could do.
I still manage to write 500+ lines of code in a 15 hour work week for them. So it is a win win for everyone.

  6. The less you write, the more it is a win. Seems to me they still hold you liable for quantity delivered.

But just to remind you of what you already know,
Keynes phone did not take 8mb pictures with metadata keying it to within 2 meters anywhere on the freakin' planet, as fast as he might have poked the button, for minutes at a time.....
