when you think about what Bannon is saying...
the drones on this site are actually what they pretend to despise.
they are working for the cronies and not the people.

Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon told CBS anchor Charlie Rose that the left’s biggest problem is that they do not have their version of Breitbart News that promotes policies and ideas that benefit American workers and is not afraid to take on the party’s donors and establishment in addition to the globalist permanent political class.

“Problem with Democratic Party? There’s no Breitbart. The problem in the Democratic Party? They haven’t had a civil war,” Bannon said. “And you know why? The financial crisis shows you that.”

Bannon told Rose in a segment that 60 Minutes Overtime posted that left-wing outlets like the Huffington Post and personalities like Rachel Maddow are just “cheerleaders for the donor class of the Democratic Party.”

As Devil’s Bargain author Joshua Green noted, Bannon often watches Maddow’s show and deconstructs it. And Maddow seemed strangely flattered when Green told her about Bannon’s media diet last year on her MSNBC show.

Maddow, who attended elitist and snooty Stanford University in a place some call “The Farm,” has promoted Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), her college classmate and potential 2020 presidential contender whom many activists have accused of being too cozy with Wall Street and the party’s big-money donors.

“And until they vet that, until they have their civil war, they’ll never be competitive,” Bannon said. “And by the way, there’s guys over there that know that. They know that. They have the same problem with their establishment we have with ours.”

Bannon said even some of former President Barack Obama’s advisers “understood that they had to go and hold these people on Wall Street accountable. And they blinked.”

“And Bernie Sanders had every opportunity. He knew about the Clinton corruption. He knew about how the Wall Street crowd has a lock on the Democratic Party. And he did not have the guts to take on Hillary Clinton in that primary,” Bannon added. “He had every opportunity, he had all the information; he did not have the guts to [take them on].”

  2. Bernie never took on Clinton in a substantive manner because he was never meant to contend in the first place. The entire dem campaign was a fix from the jump. It was Clintons turn, period. All real contenders knew they'd be savaged by the Clintons and their media machine. Bernie and the other head case were just there to provide some contrast. The dem establishment totally misread the mood of the nation. They were as shocked as anyone when Sanders was actually contending in the polls. If not for the media and DNC campaign collusion Sanders would have actually won the primaries. This reality has sent them into a total state of denial about what really happened. Bottom line, they fucked themselves and they just can't deal with it in a rational manner.

once again your analysis is excellent. I wonder if Hillarys team actually convinced Bernie to run and funded him in the beginning.

Unlike all those Goldman guys sitting in the Whitehouse right now.

And speaking of drones vs thinkers: didn't Trump go to UPenn and didn't Bannon go to Harvard?

Of course he will say the left needs a Breitbart: an organization that pretends to be news but really just spouts a narrative that most of the nation rejects. Bannon is like a terrorist. He has little to lose and a lot to gain by creating chaos. He needs more terrorists like him on the other side to justify his existence.

Why so greedy? You already have CNN, MSNBC, Huffington Post, Salon and Daily Beast pretending to be news but just spouting a narrative that most of the nation rejects.

And GS was pretty well represented during Obama's reign.

I knew someone would comeback and say that. Is it in "the alt-right internet debate handbook?"

It's called government Sachs for a reason.

But trump's administration has been particularly aggressive about saying they aren't in bed with Wall Street. And Bannon is saying it in the article above as well. And the base believes him and then accuses the liberals for being drones. If you spend a lot of time trying to figure how this is all consistent, your head might explode.

Hillary Clinton has been Wall Street's presidential darling so far by a large margin, but could be about to face some competition.

In her quest to be the nation's 45th president, the Democratic front-runner has taken in a stunning haul from the finance industry — just shy of $27 million and counting, according to the latest filings as analyzed by OpenSecrets.org. The New York metro area specifically has contributed $40.9 million of the total $204.3 million she has raised.

One of the reasons Clinton has been able to stockpile so much Wall Street cash is that she has no competition in that regard. Her lone remaining challenger, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, has forsworn Wall Street cash and has taken no money from the finance industry. Sanders has launched withering criticism at Clinton, calling her a pawn of Wall Street power brokers for accepting lucrative speaking fees as well as campaign donations.

On the Republican side, presumptive nominee Donald Trump has raised a meager $283,040 of his $57.7 million total from finance.
