I have 100s of watchlist and I need to clean them up because I can't find anything. Going through them 1 by 1 going to the menu>delete>list>whatever then confirming is too annoying. Are they located in Windows' file system somewhere? If so, where? It has to save them somewhere.
Ok...so... The watchlists seem to be located on the server. I don't understand why it is done this way. Maybe to lock you into the software? Is there a function in excel that would automatically import them? Is it possible script the exportation/deletion with/without excel? I know you can do it manually, but that's too much trouble and it doesn't solve the deletion issue.
How do people manage their watchlists in ToS? It seems to me if the lists were laid out in a Windows Explorer type view it would make it 100x easier to manage.
So, I gather there is no other way to delete watchlists, besides clicking the gear-like symbol>delete>then deleting each watchlist individually? Is there a way to just nuke all the watchlists? Or nuke all your settings, including watchlists, workspaces, studies, strategies, etc? Like, a global 'reset to default' option.
