    Have you considered the value of back-testing your trading model? It can provide valuable insights into what to look for in the future.

    You might be questioning Baron/Magna. :)

    As I mentioned back here (https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/technical-analysis.376994/page-2#post-5889610), @eleanorK80 is likely a "content/activity creator" which originates from Baron/Magna.

    Over the past couple years, I've noticed a few of these "members". These aren't bots created like FB or IG creates to be counted towards "active users" or to add to the "user minutes". They just start conversations to get others to add to the discussion which can create pages of content. They rarely respond to their own threads. Nothing wrong this this type of "bot" IMO. They have very little activity themselves so don't add to user minutes and their numbers are very small so don't move the needle on total "members/users".

    Baron/Magna may not like me saying this :) but I'm a free-speech believer so if I'm tossed from this site, then my guess here is probably correct. :)
    Pure speculation on my part as I have ZERO proof to back it up.

    Was thinking back when AOL bought Time Warner!! When you first heard the news, you thought...NO THAT'S WRONG...TIME WARNER BOUGHT AOL!!!

    AOL was fibbing (lying) about their numbers and usage...After the deal.

    From Wikipedia...

    It was the largest merger in history when completed with the combined value of the companies at $360 billion. This value fell sharply, to as low as $120 billion, as markets repriced AOL's valuation as a pure internet firm more modestly when combined with the traditional media and cable business.

    Twitter/X comes to mind...

    YES;
    + do it some, sometimes valuable insights.
    I also use I -Cloud cloud indicator, even though, my ETFs or inverse ETFs neVer hit the clouds LOL. NOT a stock tip-ETF tip , but I do sometime ''create content''
    I also study seasonals+ super trends + trends/ some of which never show up in the past.
    I also read ads;
    some one had an old ad in IBD\ wanted to buy a block trade of BA\ below currents bids.
    Not a stock tip or member of a union ,as BA is \partly:caution::caution::caution::caution::caution::caution::caution:,:D:D
    Good question

  10. A smart person will never go live before testing out their strategies in a demo first. It is definitely one of my favorite means of practice.
