Hey all about BAAPL? Ba's pink preferred. Any ideas of what this gives you over common...is these a dividend? https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/BAAPL/
It’s a combination of short options and long the common, dressed up with the illusion of higher yield. https://www.quantumonline.com/search.cfm?tickersymbol=BA-A&sopt=symbol
It is a callable, convertible Bond that yields 6% at its original $50 price. Its current dividend is roughly 5.58% at $53.76. It expires in 3 years & has a convertible rate of 0.2914 of BA stock. At the current BA stock price it's convertible value is about $44. Its a decent investment especially if BA stock rallies and you can convert it to BA shares with the 6% yield kicker. I mean if you want yield I recommend a good junk bond or CLO ETF. I'm not really an expert on Convertibles. I think @BMK knows a lot more than I do.
