    BMW have revealed details of new features available on all 2018 models.
    Press release from BMW (Munich, Germany)...

    "From 2018 all BMW models will no longer be fitted with turn signal indicators. BMW customer liaison specialists report that that drivers of our vehicles find turn signals wholly unnecessary and a distraction to the pleasures of driving a BMW. Other road users should know exactly which direction our vehicles are heading without requiring antiquated turn signals.

    ... also available in all 2018 BMW models, is TailGate+, this feature allows BMW vehicles to automatically travel inches from the bumper of a preceding car. Additionally, TailGate+ will automatically flash headlights and activate the horn when it detects a slower moving vehicle has not vacated the lane ahead within 5 milliseconds. We've been listening to our customers and their driving habits ..."

    Markets have reacted positively and BMW shares jumped nearly 5% in early trading.

    "Google X, CA have announced their self-driving automotive program is ready for public testing after numerous delays. Apparently, their AI based predictive algorithms were unable to cope with the highly unpredictable, almost random like, driving behaviour of BMW vehicles."

    A spokesperson from Google X, stated "We've cracked it ... we introduced special algorithms to detect and avoid BMW vehicles. Now we've just got to sort out Audi..."

    This morning Alphabet shares broke their 6 month high.
