BMW have revealed details of new features available on all 2018 models. Press release from BMW (Munich, Germany)... "From 2018 all BMW models will no longer be fitted with turn signal indicators. BMW customer liaison specialists report that that drivers of our vehicles find turn signals wholly unnecessary and a distraction to the pleasures of driving a BMW. Other road users should know exactly which direction our vehicles are heading without requiring antiquated turn signals. ... also available in all 2018 BMW models, is TailGate+, this feature allows BMW vehicles to automatically travel inches from the bumper of a preceding car. Additionally, TailGate+ will automatically flash headlights and activate the horn when it detects a slower moving vehicle has not vacated the lane ahead within 5 milliseconds.
