  1. All I have to say is "huh?". Atari???

  2. gaj

    gaj

reverse splits have become faves of mo-mo players...

see FMDAD for the most recent other one, but there have been a bunch.

  3. Thats not why I said "huh".

Atari has always been a mo-mo, a reverse mo-mo that is.

  4. Now within the $5 shorting threshold. Wonderful.

  5. When I first saw this on the top gainers list, I thought "Oh god...what is this..."

Well, setting personal differences aside, I decided to take a closer look at the stock and I thought it was still horrible. My mouth opened thinking what has happened to the company that started the whole video game craze.

Then I saw a few promising signs which are the following:

    Shares Outstanding: 13.48M
    Float: 6.52M

    then I saw this...

Short float with the reverse split. Headlines coming out all the time on videos. This might be a good stock to closely monitor, but of course, seeing a decline of over 10 years since 1998 with NO LET UP, I cant recommend this EVER as a hold unless you want to gamble.

  6. Atari 2600 rocks, my brother and I put up $100 to buy it in what 82? Now he is a NASA rocket scientist and I am a lowly trader. Maybe it is trailing the apple 2e we bought in 83 or 84 for several thousand dollars. Buy atari!

  7. Its not the video games that I hate, but management itself. They have been a failure for a long time and it started out in the late 70s with Steve Jobs. They could have owned half of Apple for $50,000, but they turned it down.

  8. Okay, how about the atari 5200? Gotta give it props. When frogger came out? It was just like the arcade. You gotta buy atari!!!!!

What would the $.25 a play of the 80's be today. There is no inflation!!!!!!
