Lawsuit? What SEC lawsuit? https://www.coindesk.com/markets/20...hares-as-sec-suit-sends-coin-prices-tumbling/ Cathie Wood’s Ark Investment Management, the second-largest holder of Coinbase Global (COIN) stock, doubled down on its investment in the crypto exchange after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Exchange sued the only publicly traded crypto exchange sending share prices tumbling. ARK bought 419,324 shares of Coinbase, worth around $21.6 million based on Tuesday's closing price of $51.61. The buy was split across ARK's Innovation ETF (NYSE:ARKK), the Next Generation Internet ETF (NYSE:ARKW), and the Fintech Innovation ETF (NYSE:ARKF). The purchase, the first since May 3, took Ark’s total Coinbase holdings to 11.44 million shares, valuing the position at around $590 million. ------------------------------------- So she averaged down and increased her holdings by 4%.
I could feel her buying yesterday while trading it. I thought ARKK-she was the constant 30,000-99,000 bids(Her MM) and $1 offer cleans. Thanks for the post!
They HOPE that the elephant in the room (The Board of Federal Reserve Governors) that's crashing the party will simply disappear. These people have been telling us what they are planning, along with the WEF and WMF, yet very few are listening. The sirens are blaring, but people are deaf or something.
I feel the opposite. Everyone is listening, only small amount of gambling money is on the table to push selected names higher, hence the divergence. 0DTE is not helping.
I appreciate your opinion, but when it comes to investing/trading I never follow my "feelings". I always base my analysis of future monetary decisions and direction on the talking points of those who think they rule the world.
I knew ARK would double down and even mentioned this on this same forum when I shorted PUT LEAPs on Coin weeks ago. Cathie is my Greenspan-PUT in this case...
What's the strike? I don't want to touch COIN going forward, the risk is absolutely beyond the option premiums IMO. SEC introduced the default risk into the equation, which no one has contemplated. Maybe playing with SQ instead, at least SQ has the payment tech going for them, with Bitcoin exposure.
