By the way this was the headline before the market closed today...

Now you tell me how ridiculously idiotic this whole talk of tariffs is and how the flip flop of these headlines makes you really wonder about how there is some kind of game being played here....

Must've been someone with ES calls.

If this thing pops 1% on rumors of trade talks, a real trade deal would probably be a lock limit up just like Grasso said last Friday on Fast Money. Probably straight to the highs. 6250 on the ES June contracts.

So.you watched what he said on Friday about limit ip??

    He said 5%

Now maybe we get a limit up and then a sell on the news....

It could go either way...this market could see a huge run into the deal and sell off too which would be really shocking...

I posted on Sunday that a deal is literally 30 days a way...

They know what's happening under the surface and need to close a deal as soon as possible

    which would be shocking.

Creates a problem, fakes a cure and the market nets higher.

    That's exactly how it's looking....

I suggest this is an oversimplification... if the final outcome is a better trade deal than previously existed, then the so-called "problem" he created was just a speed bump along the way.

So, your statement seems to be discounting:
Shocking or not, is an exercise left to the reader.

A trade deal that overcomes the economic damage done in the process.

the last trade deal he did was so terrible he tried to renegotiate it in his first 60 days in office.

You love to fight, huh nwm? I wasn't making a prediction, only pointing out that you were oversimplifying.
