There's been a few here with verification and more without verification (mainly hindsight analysis). Review the trade journal thread and you'll find them although most of the traders abandon their thread after showing profitability for several months. Haven't seen any enduring journals...journaling is just hard on top of the difficult of day trading. wrbtrader
My Journals been consistent for 2 months, bad trades lots of them, but thankfully enough Trend large moves to bail those losses out these days. Still trying to improve, not as good as I'd like to be yet!!
entering my daily trades for my trading journal is already time consuming as it is. why would someone post their journal here if they are profitable? is trading a charity? are they doing it because of the goodness of their heart? lol.
I agree. I think that the first phase of journaling is about gaining superficial recognition to counter the feeling of uncertainty that the market evokes. But I think people slowly realize how personal the journey is so they stop seeking external acceptance and learn to believe in themselves and what they are doing. That is when peripheral opinion no longer matters and then like you said....why bother?
I just like " Thinking out Loud!" hence my title, gives me somewhere where others can kinda audit and make fun, to keep the madness realer. If anyone learns from my going mad then all the better, like maybe don't try to daytrade it'll drive you mad !!!
Do a search on pnl journals way back from 2009 and 2010. Guys were posting their blotters and many were making consistant $
