Are there optoins platforms that let you map out greeks?

For example - If I want to compare the vega from 1 option to another at a different strike or even a different underlying in a graph, is there a platform that lets you do that?

Or say if I want to know the historical credit for a call spread.

You can do in excel close enough for government math. That’s what I do.

    Interactive.

They have some options price history but not in spread format. Like if I wanna know where a straddle price has been in the last 2 months, i wouldn't be able to construct that.

  5. FWIW, I typed in .MSFT220318C300+.MSFT220318P300 as the MSFT March '22 300 straddle and TDA's ThinkOrSwim happily charted that. I chart and trade the underlying (and options) and not sure what value is there in charting options legs, let alone a combo, but if it works for you...

    Looks like this

Also, with TOS running on a windows machine, in Excel =RTD("tos.rtd", , "VEGA",UPPER(".MSFT220318C300")) will give you the vega. No historical though. You can run a bunch of symbols this way and do real time analysis

https://www.lockeinyoursuccess.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Connecting-ThinkOrSwim-to-Excel.pdf should give you list of everything possible from TOS

It's helpful when you want to measure the risk/profit from doing 1 spread vs another.

Like I can do a short call spread instead of a calandar spread. They're both directional, the call spread will obviously pay more but maybe under certain conditions the calendar would be a better choice.

  7. That can be determined from the current real time data and obtaining the greeks in Excel and doing a bit of number crunching right?

  8. Personally I would pull the data from the ORATS API and display in excel.
