or at least reasonably priced scanner that shows number of trades?

 

Why would 10 trades to buy 100 shares be different than 1 trade to buy 100 shares ?

Looks like TD and TWS (IB) have “Top Trade Count”. You can download TWS for free and creat a Demo account.

 

IB TWS has scanners based on certain conditions, TD also has top gainers and losers scanner
