Why would people trade on ARCA Proactive if NSDQ Proactive is .001 cheaper (according to my understanding of ECN fees) to execute a trade. Is there more liquidity on ARCA or am i confused as to the pricing of ECN fees???? FLNYSE
You are correct. NSDQ proactive is a better route. In addition, take a look at EDGX proactive for even cheaper pricing and better average executions. Note that my experience is with trading Nasdaq stocks not NYSE.
