Hello traders, ✅ I successfully received five payouts with full compliance to all Apex rules. Then I requested my 6th payout of $100,239, which was officially approved by Apex via email on May 2, 2025 But instead of receiving the funds, no payout was sent… and Apex went completely silent. After several days of follow-ups, my account was reset to $0 without explanation or any notice. On top of that, I had another PA account that had reached $80,000 profit. Apex claimed there was a violation on Day 1 — yet still let me trade for 8 full days after that, and then removed the full profit. This means they implicitly accepted my trading, only to revoke all profits after the fact. I’ve since escalated the case to: – The FTC – The CFTC (ticket #2506-1722-1244-06) – The Better Business Bureau (Texas) Ticket #943383 was opened over a month ago, and I’ve followed all instructions and been transparent. No resolution so far. I’ve also filed formal complaints with the CFTC, BBB Texas, and FTC. I’d love to hear from others: - Have you gone through something similar? - What worked for you? - How can we traders support each other when issues like this arise? Thank you
Apex is probably one of the worst firms in the industry. I do hope you manage to get your payouts eventually though! Please keep us updated if you don't mind.
Having followed this space a bit through Twitter, my impression is that the big names (influencers) gets paid in order to make the operation seem legitimate and draw in fresh meat - while the common man without reach may get denied. You could try to apply some pressure through social media (X) either alone or by reaching out to someone with reach. $100K is a pretty nice sum. I hope you'll get it eventually.
Apex internalizes orders. Their "funded" traders are on sim. I can't believe they haven't arrested this guy.
Every "prop firm" (bucket shop) does that. At least initially. But sure. The Apex scumbag seems like one of the worst in that space. They even require their traders to film themselves (both the screen when trading and themselves in the room trading) before approving a payout. LOL.
Damn, Apex Damn that sucks. Was this on the live performance account or were you still on demo? If it's on demo, i think that that's the reason they can't sustain this shit. People can sign up multiple times, picking tops and bottoms, and only takes 1-2 really good trendy days to make up fees then some. That comes out of their pocket.
I have a solution for you.. Once you have a decent size payout ready, hook up with a trading influencer. Get a deal that they'll get small cut of that payout for the publicity that influencer can use for their content. this way if the prop firm pull something liek this, the influencer can blast them in public. You will more likely to get your payout (-influencer fee), better than being denied cause you're a nobody
