AOC and Amazon, AOC and trading transaction tax, Radical Left in NY and the politically motivated Trump investigation, NY high property and other taxes. At some point, smart money and successful people may conclude there are better places to live and invest. In Chicago, laws were proposed or passed to cause financial pain (A financial wall so to speak) to those who want the leave their Leftist “Utopia”. Imagine what would hapoen to New York if a “visionary” politician from another country or state decided they wanted to attract top talent, successful people, and large capital flows. All they would have to do is cut taxes, reduce regulatory burden, limit wasteful spending, and perhaps successfully push through a constitutional guarentee their state or country will remain business friendly. Think of the current state of our politics as a big pattern recognition test. We have seen this pattern before in long term Democratic strongholds such as Baltimore and Chicago. How much are voters going to continue to take? The Democratic constituents are allowing themselves to be bent over by Radical Leftists who say the other side are homophobic, racist, and, sexist while doing things to their constituents that would appall a good number of actual racists, etc. The Democrats are the entrenched Kings of what has become US Urban “war zones” under their leadership. At least one of ETs own, Destriero, a pro-Leftist, is at least smart enough to live in income tax free Nevada and play in California.

Nevermind all the other jobs that could be created by other businesses that would benefit from Amazon moving in. Let’s talk about about the trading transaction tax adversly affecting trading, commissions, and the attractiveness of New York based exchanges. How many high paying jobs are going to go bye bye if this legistlation passes? How many support industry jobs will be lost? What’s that? Jobs don’t really matter?
