I will soon start trading. Not sure what full time would mean as it is 24/7. It wouldn't be my main priority but I do think there is some opportunity.
I seriously doubt it. There was that stage in the bull market where people who had never traded anything else were making 20-40% monthly...kind of like tech stocks in '99 with more leverage. I'm sure a few of them quit their jobs and tried full-time crypto trading until 2018 happened. But VERY few retail traders do it full-time profitably (despite what you read here), especially in the crypto markets. Most "full timers" do it temporarily (then go back to their day jobs) or are independently wealthy/trust-fund children who don't really rely on it for all of their living expenses. That's a myth spread by vendors and trading forums.
There were plenty of opportunities for cross platform arb. I regret not getting into it but i'm a bit of a late bloomer.
The opportunity in cryptos are insane and if you know what you are doing you can make insanely good trades, so i'm pretty sure there are people who do it full-time and are successful at it. I know it because i've been doing it myself full time for more than 2 years now, although my skill level might just not be up to par yet. I have figured out the technical aspects, but still need to work on the actual execution and mindset..... But that's why i'm looking to network if anyone else is doing it too, to share ideas etc...
What's your broker orbit23? I checked a lot, but all have some drawbacks: only CFD's or account in BTC...
There's no difference in trading cryptos from equities except for more volatility. Risk of exchange blowing up or manipulation not withstanding
