Anyone know of way to get a discount with Kinetick or Esignal?

  1. Hi there,

I am looking to subscribe for a month with Kinetick or eSignal, to be able to download futures historical data (tick not minute) for the past seven to ten years, into NinjaTrader.

Does anyone here know how I could get a discount with either of these vendors? Or perhaps has a 'hook up'? Perhaps we could get a discount being an elite trader member?

Please let me know, as I am on a budget, not the richest guy and my birthday is next week ;)

If you have an active account with a broker you can get certain waivers from CME regarding CME e-mini data but that's about it.

What kind of data you need?

    Forex? Stocks? Futures? Cash Index?

  3. Hi,

10years back futures historical data...minute data for Ninjatrader.

    Thank You,

    IWDI.

  4. You can get only 40 days worth of tick data and 120 days intraday data with eSignal.

Why do you need the data to come from Kinetick or eSignal for importing into Ninjatrader ?

There's other resources out there that have more data than those guys that imports into Ninjatrader. You can contact Ninjatrader support department for the names of those companies or just use Ninjatrader forum...its all listed there.

Also, most of the names are listed here too at Elitetrader.com that you'll find listed over at the Ninjatrader forum.

You just need to scroll down below while reading this message and you'll see similar threads like questions as yours. The replies contain a list of names of companies with historical data going back 10 years or more.

As to the issue about discounts for those data vendors...only way is via an affiliation or referral program...some of them has such (e.g. eSignal).

  6. Want the cheapest provider...

  7. No if you pay them an extra $14, then you get up to seven years.

  8. No, the $14 is payment to extend the tick data from 10 days to 40 days.

Sorry, my last post was not clear regarding intraday. But you said it was tick data that you wanted, and the max. is 40 days.

    Isn't this site called elitetrader?

  10. That's interesting. I've searched, likely incorrectly, to no avail. Can you elaborate?
