I am not and have never been a financial professional. Apparently FINRA solicits people from other walks of life to serve as some kind of manager of mediation or arbitration procedures. They have sent me dozens of letters soliciting me for this. Does anyone have experience with it?
I just figured they must be blanketing the US with the letters. I don't think there is anything particular about me.
I'm a doctor but have not practiced for about 15 years; I work in the pharma industry now. They are not soliciting me for a job; it's some freelance gig where you do some training, then go to one of these arbitration procedures. Maybe they got me from a professional list or maybe they are targeting my zip code.
Yes, it may be interesting. Thank you for your comment, Robert. I appreciate how you help a lot of people on this site and sidestep the vitriol.
